Having lost my parents at a young age and then my best friend in her early 50s, I watched as symptoms were treated with medication after medication, with little focus on the root causes. Inflammation, insulin resistance, and poor metabolic health conditions are so often preventable. I understand the frustration of feeling like your body has changed the rules on you, because I’ve lived it myself.
At 61, and after more than three decades in healthcare, I found myself facing the same thing so many of my clients come to me with: unexplained weight gain, energy that wasn’t what it used to be, and the early signs of insulin resistance creeping in, despite believing I was “doing everything right.”
In 2018, everything changed. Through understanding metabolic science, whole food nutrition, botanical supplements and a lower-carbohydrate approach, I lost over 22kg. But more importantly, I brought genuine balance back to my body and hormones and finally understood what my body had been trying to tell me all along.
I’m still doing this work. I’m still learning, still adjusting, still actively working on my own metabolic health today.
This is exactly why coaching with me looks the way it does. I’m not handing you a programme I read about, I’m sharing what I’ve lived, alongside the clinical knowledge I’ve built over 36+ years as a Registered Nurse and Midwife. When I say chronic illness isn’t inevitable, I believe this to be true. It’s what I’m proving to myself, one year at a time.
"I believe I am fearfully and wonderfully made and given the right tools; my body can keep me healthy.
I believe the same is true for you."

Shifts - Techniques to change patterns that no longer serve you
Sustainable Results - Knowledge that empowers you sustain long-term results
How I Work With You
My approach is relaxed, realistic, and completely non-judgmental.
I combine medical knowledge, metabolic science, and evidence-based behaviour-change tools, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to support you in practical, compassionate, and sustainable ways. There are no quick fixes here, and no rigid food plans. Instead, we explore the science together, identify what's standing in your way, and build habits that actually last.
For those wanting extra support, I help people to explore high-quality nutritional products to further support their health
With your permission, if I notice something that falls outside the scope of coaching, I may refer you to another professional to ensure you get the right support. Your wellbeing always comes first.
